Genesis SK-MHF03 - shoulder rig with an electrical follow-focus system
It is fitted with an electrical focus adjustment system of follow-focus type, compatible with most of the lenses available on the market. Aside from its stabilizing function and ability to combine additional accessories, the device also supports precise adjustment of focal length, focal plane or f-number.
The tripod has modular construction and is comprised of aluminium bars with standard diameter of 15mm which add to lightweight and rigidity of the device. As a result, the tripod may be easily extended and tailored to individual needs. The device may be used as a multi-task platform which combines a registering device, preview display and LED illuminator. These elements may be mounted through suitable adapters and "magic arm" jibs.
Genesis SK-MHF03 features follow-focus system powered by two electric motors operated through the same control unit and integrated joysticks which may be also used as standard handles. Both control unit and joysticks have buttons and knobs which allow for adjustment of the rotation direction and rotational speed. Owing to such a solution it is possible to adjust the rotational speed of rings on the lens and to increase working precision of focal length, aperture and focal plane. Lens rings are rotated by two 8mm wide toothed belts connected to the motors of the follow-focus system. Rubber non-slip bands included in the kit may be mounted in lenses with smooth surfaces. The control unit is powered by one LP-E6 battery which is also used in Canon 60D, 7D, 5DMk2, 5D Mark III and 6D reflex cameras.
The camera or camcorder may be adjusted to the tripod directly with the use of a 1/4-inch or 3/8-inch screw or through a special adapter. The adapter is fitted with a 1/4-inch thread and allows for height adjustment within 4 centimetres range.

The warranty covers only damage and defects resulting from reasons inherent in the sold device.
The warranty does not cover:
mechanical damage and defects caused by them
damage resulting from improper use or storage of the product not in accordance with the user manual and safety regulations
damage caused by external factors such as flooding with liquid, moisture, too high or too low temperature, atmospheric discharges, chemical agents, and other factors beyond the Guarantor's control
damage resulting from unauthorized repairs and alterations
damage resulting from natural wear and tear, such as: scratches, dirt, abrasions
The customer may be charged with the costs of transport and diagnosis of the product if the product sent as part of the warranty complaint is functional or its defects result from improper use of the product.
Defects that occur during the warranty period will be repaired free of charge, as soon as possible, which should not exceed 14 days from the date of accepting the equipment for repair. The deadline may be extended if the repair requires the import of spare parts and other random situations beyond the control of GenesisGear.
GenesisGear is not responsible for financial losses and other civil law consequences caused by a defect in the advertised device (loss of profit, turnover, inability to conduct business).
If it is necessary to deliver the equipment to the service, the Customer is obliged to send the equipment in a properly secured packaging with fillers so that there is no risk of damage to the equipment during transport. In the event of damage, the costs are borne by the customer. Cash on delivery parcels will not be accepted. Service requests can be made directly on the website or in person at the point of purchase of the product.
